I am a first year student majoring in Business Management here at SDSU. I was born and raised in Palm Springs, CA so all I know is hot weather.  I am involved in African Student Union, Black Business Society, and Special Student African American Sisterhood. I am also on an Intramural Sports Softball team so we play games every other Thursday night. I like to surf the net to look for more braiding ideas or go out to eat with my friends. The Black Business Society has allowed me to connect with other students who are driven like me and has taught me to understand how to deal with being uncomfortable when it comes to networking. One major thing that has stuck with me from BBS is "it's all about the people you know". I think about that everyday because it's essential in the business world.
